Moi University is pleased to announce an exciting international research opportunity for students proceeding for Field Attachment between April and July 2026. Through the AIR4LIFE Project, selected students will have the chance to undertake a 3-month research stay at the University of Bremen, Germany, one of Europe’s leading institutions in technology and innovation.
The AIR4LIFE Project, implemented in partnership with Moi University, Universität Bremen and supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, aims to foster innovation for a sustainable future.
This exchange programme offers students hands-on experience in emerging technologies while strengthening global research collaboration. Focus Areas Selected students will engage in cutting-edge research in areas such as:
- Internet of Things (IoT) & Wireless Networks
- Tiny Machine Learning (TinyML)
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Air Pollution Monitoring
- Network Measurements & Data Analytics
These focus areas equip students with practical, industry-ready skills relevant to modern technological and environmental challenges.
Eligibility & Application
This opportunity is open to Moi University students who will be undertaking Field Attachment in the 2026 cycle. Applicants must apply in pairs (groups of two) due to the collaborative nature of the programme. Students are encouraged to apply before the 18th December 2025 deadline. Limited slots are available, and early application is highly advised.
